In this kickoff session for Data Privacy Week, the Privacy and Information Security Management (PrISM) leadership team will provide an overview of new and emerging trends (and threats!) in privacy and information security; explain how Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Risk Management work together at UBC; highlight new legal requirements on breach notification and privacy management; and describe new UBC initiatives, including the Compliance Support Program and the Privacy Matters @ UBC Champions Program.
